On behalf of the Yale Undergraduate Research Association (YURA), I would like to announce the first annual, national undergraduate research conference at Yale University, the 2017 Yale Undergraduate Research Conference!
As a student organization, YURA’s mission is to inspire, integrate, and support undergraduate research across disciplines. We are seeking student applications from national colleges and universities, like Columbia, from which the YURA team will select 90 undergraduate poster presenters and 10 plenary speakers. Research spanning the humanities, social sciences, and STEM is welcome! In addition, the two-day conference will feature esteemed keynote speakers from the Yale community and panel workshops on continuing education and careers after college.
The conference will take place on Saturday and Sunday, February 11-12th, 2017 at the Omni New Haven Hotel and will run from 9 A.M. to 7 P.M. Our application portal will be open until December 8th, 2016.
We would greatly appreciate if you would share this opportunity with research students at Columbia through our conference website: http://yura.yale.edu/conference.
If someone else might be better suited to help us reach Columbia student researchers, we would greatly appreciate if you would direct us to them. If you have any questions concerning the conference, please contact us at yura@yale.edu or me, personally, at charlotte.herber@yale.edu.

Regards,
Charlotte Herber, YURC Co-Director
